Let’s Talk: All Natural Tata Harper Skincare

March 27, 2017

I recently started thinking more about the ingredients that are in most cosmetic products and realized that putting something filled with chemicals onto my body is just not something I want to do. I also did more research into which brands test on animals and was surprised to find out that most cosmetic companies (including ones I was using) do still test on animals. I guess I foolishly thought animal testing just didn’t happen much anymore, but unfortunately it does and it’s not something I want to support. If you’re interested in finding out which companies do or don’t test on animals, PETA has a good resource here.

So anyway, I’ve slowly started switching out all my old products for new products that are totally natural and cruelty free and I wanted to share one of my favorite finds so far, Tata Harper Skincare. I’m obsessed with this brand! All of their products are 100% natural, are never tested on animals, and many of their ingredients come from THEIR OWN FARM in Vermont. Pretty cool, right?

For cleansing I use the Nourishing Oil Cleanser. I know it seems so weird to rub oil on your face to cleanse it but I swear it works! It removes every little bit of makeup and dirt but doesn’t leave your skin completely dry like most cleansers.

After cleansing I use the Rejuvenating Serum. I’m not quite at the age where I’m starting to see wrinkles yet, but this stuff definitely makes my skin feel firmer and if it helps to prevent wrinkles then great! It’s pretty moisturizing by itself, so I like to use a lightweight moisturizer over it. My favorite is the Clarifying Moisturizer. This moisturizer is great for anyone with sensitive skin that’s prone to breakouts here and there. I also tend to have a lot of redness in my cheeks and this stuff really helps to calm the redness.

Those are the three products I use on the daily but I’ve tried many of Tata Harper’s other products (hello free samples!) and have loved everything I tried. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my skin since using these products; I have less redness, fewer breakouts, and my skin looks more radiant. Tata Harper products are definitely on the pricier side but it’s totally worth it in my opinion. Plus, a little bit goes a long way with this stuff so it will last you awhile before you have to restock.

Do you use any all natural cosmetic products you think I should know about? Let me know in the comments!

Wow, I was really surprised that both Neutrogena and Aveeno both test on animals! WTH?
