10 Things to do on a Rainy Day

Guys, I’m tired of winter. I want to lie on the beach and eat watermelon while the sun shines down on me. But this winter just keeps dragging on and it seems we have another rainy weekend on our hands. Summer is just not ready to come out and play yet, so I decided to make a list of things you CAN do on a rainy day rather than focus on all the things you can’t do.   Have a movie marathon. Sometimes it feels really good to just lie on your couch, snuggled up with a blanket, while binging on junk food. Purge your closet. Never Waste a Sunny Day

It's been an usually long and cold winter for Southern California standards. And by cold I mean highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. I know that sounds ridiculous for anyone who lives somewhere with a real winter, but when you're used to year-round 80 degree weather, 60 degrees seems downright frigid. We've also had an unusually rainy winter, which I'm not complaining about because we desperately needed it. But I've missed warm, sunny days! That's why when we had a sunny, 70+ degree weekend I jumped at the opportunity to head straight to the beach. A Rainy Weekend in San Francisco

A few weekends ago I took a trip to one of my all time favorite cities: San Francisco. Growing up, my parents used to take my siblings and I to San Francisco all the time. It was one of our go-to vacation spots. Now my grandpa and sister both live in the city, so I still visit often and I never tire of that San Francisco charm. I did most of the touristy things in my younger days so when I visit SF these days, it's usually just to relax, spend time with family, and maybe go a little off the beaten path.
